We got two of these larger boxes shipped to the office, after the guessing (wrong) I cut one open to find this sweet skateboard deck. The deck is a promo item from Modern Props here in LA, seemed like a strange item to use as a promo but damn, I’m happy. I really dig the graphics on it, it would almost be a shame to mar it up with trucks and tape. So for now I’ll just have to look at it think how cool it would be for rolling around Venice Beach on it.

So it was another year at the X-Games here in LA
The Thursday night I was a the Staples Center watching the FMX best trick, it was the same night the kid fell from the sky on the big air half pipe.
I was sitting with Twitchs’ mom and when Scott Murray came up to do his double backflip well… If you haven’t seen him do it in his back yard this is the clip that started all his buzz. He looked calm until the entire crowd was on their feet, and then he put his head on the handle bars. I talked with my friend Ravi after (he is the one starting the riders) he agreed that the pressure overcame him at that moment. The X-games are not like your backyard.
This is the clip from my camera. He came in a little slow I think, not enough inertia to fast spin. Yeah I was on the floor there last year when Travis stuck it, so I’ve seen it live.
