Here’s the nice promotional kit that AMC sent out for the season premier of Breaking Bad. It all came in separate bags with tags like they are evidence. The camera had a self-recorded clip from the main protagonist, it was an apology to his family for what he is doing. It has a Flip video camera and a 1gig USB key. It is not the newest of the Flip video cameras but, free is great.

Update: now that I have had a chance to play with the device it turns out it’s a Flip clone, a Jazz DV 151. There was a sticker covering the camera info, oh well.

We got two of these larger boxes shipped to the office, after the guessing (wrong) I cut one open to find this sweet skateboard deck. The deck is a promo item from Modern Props here in LA, seemed like a strange item to use as a promo but damn, I’m happy. I really dig the graphics on it, it would almost be a shame to mar it up with trucks and tape. So for now I’ll just have to look at it think how cool it would be for rolling around Venice Beach on it.
